Just released by Shark as an upgrade over the Evo GT

Bloody typical as just bought a Neotec 3.

Love the Shark Evo for its flip over feature-I used it on our Germany/Austria trip this year and I reckon I rode 90% of the time with it open. But Shark quality is not up there with the likes of Shoei. The Evo is certainly noisier, but sounds like the Oxo will be better.
I just wish Shoei would do a flip over.
I’ve had their flip ups ever since the Multitec and as good as it is, it’s just annoying to ride with the chin bar hanging above your head for extended periods as it catches the airflow and makes the helmet heavy .
Obviously the flip up is designed more for pulling into petrol stops or riding through a town, whereas you can ride all day in a flip over with it open.

Might have to go try on an Oxo at some point .

good video. interesting as I wore my C5 to Gran Canaria in Jan and rode full time with the chin bar up. this looks perfect for that.

I've had the Shark EvoLine 1, 2 and 3 which are great helmets.
I bought a Shark Evo GT and Sold it on here as i felt it was a let down over the EvoLine.
So for myself, the Oxo need to be on par with the EvoLine 3 to make me spend my money on one.
I dont know why Shark did not just upgrade the EvoLine 3 visor to work like the Evo & Oxo visors do.

Didn’t know there was an EvoLine 3.
Thought it was Evo ES then Evo GT ?
Just sold my ES.
Will try on an Oxo when I can as would use it in preference to Neotec 3 in warm weather , as I did with the ES over the Neotec 2 last summer .

Love my Evo and sold my Arai X4 as was just not bothering with it. Will have to have a look at these. Thanks for posting

Had virtually all versions of the Shark flip over helmets and IMO the EVO GT was the best so far.

Will have to try on the new OXO (daft name!) some time as by the description the internal shape has changed completely and so may no longer be a good fit for me like the old ones.

Sad I can remember this :augie but model progression was:

Evoline
Evoline 2
Evoline 3
Evo One
Evo One - 2
Evo GT and Evo ES (the latter being the lower spec one)

Now OXO which I am sure will be too good for words!

Hi All,

Obviously the Shark Oxo is a new model for Shark... but a bit of an industry secret... Nolan/Shark are now part of the same group.

That being said, the Shark Oxo & Nolan N120-1 helmet is exactly the same....

The Nolan helmet is slightly cheaper too, and they've just changed distributors in the UK so Nolan is now with the same company who supply Shark. That being said, there's plenty of Nolan N120-1 helmets flying round cheap for a short period of time during the handover period.

Just a friendly tip :)

Oh yeah, UKGSER code works too!

Merry Christmas all!

Just ordered one from Motolegends with a 20% discount . The Dark Shadow colours come with both a clear and tinted visor

That's a good looking helmet Arsey; i'am using an HJC i90 flip up at the moment which is'nt bad; but like you say being able to put the chin bar to the back of the helmet does make a difference; What are these Shark helmets like for weight these days ?

Dunno about weight but my Evo ES was more comfortable to wear all day than Neotec with the chin bar open

Motocentral have just discounted the helmets

Take the Dark Shadow Silver for example and with UKGSER discount code it’s then £269 . Then email Motolegends at [email protected] and it’ll be about £240 !!

dont know then, still only showing 5% here. tried it from both my PC and phone.
Can anyone else have a look ?

Exactly the same , apart from the chin bar, vents and helmet contours 😜

My Oxo arrived.
Very impressed with the quality. Much better than the Evo ES or GT.
Much plusher padding and the fit is a slightly more oval shape than the Evo.
Fits more like a Shoei now.
I fitted a Cardo Packtalk Edge 2nd helmet kit.
The speaker cut outs in the OXO are exactly 45 mm so the Cardo JBL speakers just push in and don’t even need fixing in place as fit is so tight.
Just as well they fit as the cut outs are surrounded by plastic lining rather than the polystyrene so would be a bit messy to enlarge.

Like the fact the helmet comes with both clear and tinted visor but only one pin lock so will order a second .
Might regret buying the Neotec 3 as think I may use this more than just in the summer.
