She is from USA, and she want to live on a small farm in Norway, with no electrisity, not buying things, make all food, keep the kid at home (not at school when he get older), she have no phone, and so on.

The man with a large beard and a horse is her norwegian husband.
The young man is his son from before he (the bearded husband) met her.

They have no road.

In this movie she speak american, and the intervjuer speak norwegian, but I believe you have no problem understanding it all.

Many people lived like that here, maaany years ago.
