Ah, thanks for that. I missed your post as there was a lot of "noise" at that time.

Millets have a branch 1 mile away so I'll pop in and get one: just hope my little legs can still reach the ground with all the extra layers...

Try Lidl - only £2.99 for same travel pillow!

Millets is within walking distance. It will cost me more than £2 in fuel to travel to my nearest Lidl, only to find it out of stock...

Surely if you leave it on the bike in the rain, it'll get all wet and then is like sitting on a wet sponge?

Ikea has loads of sheepskin seat covers cleverly disguised as sheepskin rugs.

The missus sewed some elastic on and it fits a treat now....really comfortable.

Don't worry about them only coming in white.....a few months worth of use and it'll soon be a tasteful shade of black!

Safe riding

Shitman

Ikea now do them in gray i got one last week:thumb2

Who been talking? I never do anything to sheep when they are wet or dry, its a lie - I just enjoy their company

Alaska Leather. Made to fit GS. Excellent service (arrived within 5 days after ordering on internet and I live in NZ !). Elastic snap on clips so easy to remove if it starts raining (no need to lift the seat). www.alaskaleather.com

Got a tack shop just up the road from us, think I will pop up there and get a Merino Wool saddle cover tomorrow if they have any as so many seem to swear by them, although I cant quite get my head around to seeing why having a piece of sheeps skin around your arse allows you to ride longer in comfort :nenau mmm, so what colour shall I go for black or cream ??

Already am the black sheep mate :augie
The cream one looks nice but not so sure cause of getting dirty quicker, probably be the black one, but then again all depends what they have in stock.
Its funny as several mths ago when nick was looking at getting one I so took the p**s out of him, now I am looking down the very same route :o
