Reaching for the bars with a foot forward riding position can cause back ache for some.
To sort this out on my Harley (same seating position) I fitted bars with a greater pull back that reduced the reach.
However, it would be an easier job to fit risers but I fancied different bars.

Nice bike.:thumb2 I bet touring on it would be a blast.

There is a 'Carbon' version due out in 2017 with bars closer to the rider, not sure about the red cylinder detailing though!
Going to get me a test on a standard Audace over the Xmas hol's, certainly has character.

I sat on the Carbon in Milan and it was no different that I could see, apart from the carbon and red cylinder head covers.

I'm toying with ordering a set of these :

Had the heated grips fitted this morning . The bike came with the switch gear but no heated grips as not standard on Audace for some reason . Anyway , fitted in under an hour and get nice and hot with three stages controlled by the switch and indicated on the display .

Got a call out of the blue from Italy today.

It was Agostini Mandello to let me know that their exhausts for the Audace were back in stock and that they were happy to send to me VAT-free from Italy.

Good service as I had merely emailed them last week and was told a few details but that they were out of stock.

Didn't expect a call.So bollocks to it,ordered a set.Been a crap week and it's nearly Christmas.

I think they look pretty good, keeping the black look and they sound much better than the stock jobbies !

Agostini do other Guzzi bits.Take a look on the website.Good to deal with-so far !

Thats the spirit Arsey! It's only money! And it's next owner (ooh in about 1,000 miles) will appreciate the upgrade :bounce1

Merry Christmas from Jersey! I don't normally wish people in Guernsey well but seeing that it's Christmas and all :beerjug:

At least, looking at the forecast, you won't have to fight the snowmen for your Christmas dinner you carrot crunching freaks! (Too much?)

Enjoy the cruiser

F*** me!
You're fast with the old pics and video!
They look and sound good - what's the advantage over the stock ones?

Seeing as it's the festive season what about 2017?
You could buy a Yamaha XSR900 (speedblock colour scheme of course), trick it all out and then, a year later, sell it to me at a significantly discounted price!
How's does that appeal to you as a plan?:thumb:thumb

Advantage over stock is the noise. Stock is just too quiet not that I like loud pipes but a 1400 Guzzi motor needs to breath!!
I think they look better too.

XSR900 very nice actually especially in speed block colours !!

Just been out on the beastie and the new pipes are perfect. Not offensively loud like some of those hideous open HD offerings, but much throatier than standard.Plus I prefer the shortie blacked out look compared to the conical OE cans.

Final tinkering possibility is to fit the matt red cylinder head covers that are an accessory.

What do you fine purveyors of style, and Andres reckon ? :aidan

The only other red on my bike is red stitching on the seat.

I'm tempted to just leave it all black but a mate reckons it would look good ?

The MGS21 Bat Bike has red covers but they look to be a lighter more shiny finish :

Thoughts/rip the piss ?

I like it ! Nice choice of bike Sir and red sets it off.

I like the Agip sticker also
