Hello!
I have a 2023 BMW R 1250 RT with Shift Assistant Pro. A few times, when quickshifting from 3rd to 2nd, I heard a brief high-pitched squeak/chirp and the shift itself was noticeably rough. It seems to happen only under unusual load conditions, such as uphill/downhill riding or possibly very low/high RPM; normal SAP shifts and manual clutch shifts are quiet. A few days before the first occurrence, I accidentally quickshifted 3rd→2nd at high speed and the RPM briefly went into the red zone. Has anyone experienced a similar squeak during a rough SAP 3→2 downshift, and do you know whether it comes from the slipper clutch, rear tyre, or another part of the drivetrain? Could I damage something by that over-revving?
Thank you!
