Shiny New H7's Not Working..... HELP!

Hi Guys,

I've read a few posts and found no help. I wnated some extra light at night so bought two new shiny H7 extremes - you know the 90% brighter ones. Well after carefully fitting them both I get the LAMPF warning on the display. What the hell is going on? I didn't break anything I swear!! Anybody had this???

Are they higher wattage?

No they're exactly the same wattage stated in the manual - which i took with me.

They could be knacked, visually inspect the filament or better still put a meter across the terminal of the bulb

Yes I started the bike up and nothing. Anyway, that's when I came inside to read the manual again and get some help here. Just went outside, fiddled with them (doing nothing that I hadn't already done), gave the bike a Paddington Bear hard stare and bugger me they're working.

Gremlins? BMW secret programming not to accept foreign bulbs? I don't know.
