Yeah I’m not impressed with them . Bought a 400 mile R1300R and part of the deal was it had its first service . I picked it up and now the service light has come on and I’m getting nothing from the salesman or the management . Not good at all

I’ve considered changing to them from Williams at Manchester, since I moved over 3 years ago. Lived for a short while literally 5 mins away, even now probably only 15 mins. Been in a couple or three times for stuff, never an issue, always helpful. For some reason I’ve carried on going over to Williams for servicing etc.🤷‍♂️ I’ve always had a good experience with them and at the moment find no reason to change other than the obvious travelling time. My lad thinks I’m nuts!! I’ll follow this thread with interest, would be grateful for any updates. Hope you get sorted.👍

I rated the parts and service department when I used them a month ago.

Simon Sayer is the gaffer. Ask for him maybe? He's a good egg apparently. A mate of mine knows him well.

Think you'll find he's left and gone to Craig's Honda

~Right you are. Just asked my mate.

Yes, left just over a month ago after 23 years.
That speaks volumes. I've had 6 new GSAs from them from 2005 - 2024, the last one being under Vertu ownership. It's just a shop now. (y)

All sorted now but I’m being inconvenienced by the bike having to be picked up next week and returned two days later . PITA to be fair

I bought a 142-mile R1250R. BMW serviced it before pick-up but then at 600 miles it needed "The 600 mile Service". This was covered by the 3-year service plan that I had purchased.

RIGHT .
IT IS JUST A FUCKING LIGHT !!!

it won't stop you riding .
even if the mechanic turns it off before it has activated , it will come on when it should .
i had this many times , even when the spanner came up, it would come back on.
i took to turning it off in front of the customer , and told them DO NOT FUCKING RING IN AND COMPLAIN , YOU WATCHED ME TURN IT OFF .
some of you really are a bunch of cry-babies.

ps , can't get through to the workshop ? ring parts instead , can't get them ? ring sales ...
if no one answers ... ring BMW UK , i but they can get them to answer , and then call you .

last resort , find their social media and moan on there , they WILL answer that ( or delete it )

if they are treating you like shit , change shops or change brand.

Yeah that’s all well and good but they forgot to service it !!! Not good
