hello peeps,
I'm looking for any advice on shipping my HP2 Enduro to the far east.
I'm intending to spend 6 weeks touring Thailand, Cambodia,Laos and Vietnam.
the bike is about ready and the time off is booked.
anyone shipped to this area before and can offer advice or recomended companies i would apreciate the assistance.
I'm looking at the 11th of december as a start date.
Currently looking at air and sea options at the moment. i like the thought of my bike being in the hold as opposed to hoping the ship made it there, but obviously the money will be playing a part in my plans.
thank you people.:thumb2

James Cargo to Seoul South Korea is about £900 for a 1200 by plane

However, beware, getting it back from the Far East is dramatically more expensive than outbound.

I've been quoted about £2000 for sea freight home from South Korea !!

Have a chat to Danny or Giles at James Cargo. Or check HUBB...

That'll be becuase more freight comes this way than goes back!

Don't bother with sea freight as its more hassle than its worth. Air cargo costs more but you won't have the hassle docks bring into the equation.

Thanks guys,
It is looking quite expensive from my enquiries so far.
last time i looked at it we were looking at 4 or6 bikes in a container which works out a lot cheaper obviously.
I may revert back to my '5 weeks in north africa plan'.
still a few avenues to explore yet though.:thumb
