Shock absorber repair/service NW

Trying to change the rear spring on my ST1300, have removed shock but I need to find somewhere who has the tools to remove the spring

I don't fancy bodging it and having the spring disappear thro' the garage roof

Can't see Mr Maxton being interested

You might be surprised about Maxton. He happily replaced the spring on a standard BMW a shock a few years ago for me and put on one of his own.

Yep, Kais did my DRZ shock last year.... £90.

Maxton will be busy at present with racers units, they didn't want to now about a shock job for me a few weeks ago. Give them a try though.... they may squeeze you in.

Went to Kais today they sorted me out straight away. Nice people, very helpful.

Showed me round the workshop, very impressed....... particularly the Ohlins race
forks at £8500 a pop
