Hello - I recently purchased a Shock Tube from R&G, literally a square of neoprene designed to wrap around the rear shock to keep all the crud off it...

My question to other Shock Tube users is...

Did you remove the standard BM plastic splash guard before fitting or did you wrap the shock guard around the guard too?

i'm not sure the shock tube will fit under the guard... so I guess I wrap the shock guard around the whole set up? This is what makes me think I might need to remove it...?

I tried one once - I think you need to take that plastic guard off for it to fit - and it serves no purpose with the shock boot in place.

I was hoping I didn't have to remove it and that the shock tube covers the whole set up (shock and original guard) - can anybody confirm 100%?
