Shocks for 2003 r1150 GSA

Have an offer of a set of Ohlins front and rear for my 2003 GSA.

Thing is, they were bought for an 1100.

I'm going to have the rear modified to suit the GSA

Thing is, will they work? I'd be happier if they were off an 1100 but the price is nice, their immaculate and pir suspension in down can rebuild.

Should I go for it?

Here's the numbers on the shocks

Rear;** 01092-69-170** L194
Front ,** 01096-13-58** L214.

Put another way, is there a lot to do to swap them over?

The rear 1100/1150 rear shocks aren't interchangable.

The 1100 and 1150 lower mounts are different and so are the shock swing arms mounts.

Dudes, they look like they should fit but I'd love a definitive. They were bought for an 1100 but never fitted and so never checked by current owner. They don't look that different to the mounts on my old shock but I've never has the front shock off the gs.

Fingers crossed for a few more 'yes they look like 1150 shocks!!

Was at PLR today getting Clarence to set up 1150 shocks for my GSA. That picture looks very similar to mine
My advice is give him a ring as he really knows his stuff

Uncross your fingers......................those shocks definitely fit a 1150GS, not a 1100GS
