shocks need info

are adventure shocks,springs the same as a gs, are they interchangable?????mines a 03 twin spark.do older ones fit?are 1100 ones the same?can they be converted?

1150 adventure shocks are longer than stock GS items - will raise the ride height of a GS by about 35mm, or alternatively lower an adventure by the same amount - depends which way round the retro fit is.

Some reckon there is an issue with the angle of the shaft drive if fitting the adv. shocks to a GS, can't see it myself but stand to be corrected.

Can't comment on the 1100 bits.

put adv springs on a gs then put old gs springs on an 1100,i can get adv spring set cheap u see

I think the front shock of the 1100 is the same as the 1150 but the rear is not .
