Shoei Hornet Moto X Helmet .

Went to M&S on the hill and noticed they had the new Shoei helmet in

It was in chrystal white ( light metalic finish in strong sun or lighting )

The build of it was better than the Tour X and BMW and seemed to weigh lighter than the Tour X and heavier than the BMW

The peak attatches like the BM with three points and the vent slidders were a better quality and feel than the others

It had the same pin lock visor as the Multi Tech and same visor demister , the interiour looked identical and had a groove for wearing glasses

Priced at £275 retail , don't know how much with a discount

I saw a white one and a gloss black one , think the other colour is a blue / grey ish

Theres a few revues on ADV Rider ( sorry if all ready posted )

I tried on at the bike show...strangely the shape is almost identical to the TourX I thought, except that it had no room for ears.

£250 .. a bargain compared to Tour x prices!!

I don't know where you tried one on, but at the stall where I compared them both, the Tour X was only £230

Cool - I didn't know you could get them in this country yet

My TourX is shagged and would love one of these as a replacement as I've always been a 'Shoei man'.

I can't remember IIRC they were about halfway back, about two rows in from the far left (east?) end...they only sold helmets of all kinds with deals on HJC. If I could see a show map I might be able to tell you...

I did`nt go to the show but try this link I`m sure this is the cheapest place I`ve come across for the Tour-X, only 239 for a proper UK spec. I`ve bought from them and can`t fault them. Hope this helps.

From speaking to the guys at Visor Shop it appears they are still waiting for delivery of the visors for the Hornet, seems like they have not made it to this part of the world as yet.

Ordered a smoke tint visor on Monday afternoon and it arrived today... Looks really good now on my black Hornet... and already has the pinlock pegs fitted...

just got hornet and very happy ,all thing the tour x piss me off ,hornet fixed them
we stock these lids aswell so quote
