anyone fitted boom mic and speaker loom plus anc mic loom into one of these and can post some pictures of the instal???

thank you very much!:D

No need for pics as it is very easy. I fitted a headset for a star com in about 10 minutes.
1. take out the ear pads and discard, they do not go back in.
2. take out cheek pads.
3.fit speakers in obvious location.
4. push mic boom and some of the harness in between shell and liner (i secured with gaffa tape).
5.refit cheek pads.
all done, only one word of warning, be careful that you do not pull the liner out to far or you will brake off the fir cone clip which are replacable but are difficult to get hold of.:thumb2

hi steve ta for reply,
photos of the helmet with kit in place would help tho':D

the autocom I have has an extra sensor for helmet noise which sat just above the top of the cheek piece in my schuberth, so really what I am looking for is
phots of the shoei with a similar set up in place as the shoei internal sun visor drops down into what looked like the obvious place to locate it...
I use UE monitors so only the boom mic and loom needed...by liner do you mean the foam type inner that comes out so essily for cleaning?

No, mean between the shell and the hard foam liner. As for the noise sensor, dont know about that.

Guys, apologies as I've never done this but do you need a different microphone for a flip up helmet.
I remember seeing a guy that when helmet flipped up he just seem to twist it out of the way as if it was made for the job if you understand what I mean.
I have standard Autocom headset in my Shoei Raid 2, just wondered if that will transfer straight to a Neotec.
Also the earpieces have black plastic covers with holes in, do these fit into the cut outs in a Neotec without digging into your ears as they do with my Raid or would you need to remove the covers to slot in a Neotec.

Thanks

yes you need the "boom" mic.
I dont use the autocom ear pieces having in ear monitors instead but there looks to be loads of room in the neotec to fit them without any chance of them pressing on your lugs too much!
