I got the Multitec, Neotec and Hornet DS. Multitec is a very good helmet, fits me like a glove, better than the Neotec. Lovely flip front with metal plates in the locking mechanism, draft free with the storm cuff, pinlock insert so it doesn't fog, enough space for an intercom system speakers. Downsides. Small opening, noisy and you have to change visors when the light conditions change, vents not the best, lining not removable.
Hornet DS. Light helmet, very aerodynamic for a peaked helmet, big opening so you can see a lot without moving your head, nice and cool helmet, chin has a bit of space, good ventilation. Pinlock doesn't fog and once again fits me like a glove. Can wear it for hours. Downsides. It is very drafty in winter, the helmet has space for inter ear plug speaker thingy not the normal speaker that comes with an intercom system, the peak has nothing to do as a sunshade, the peak can vibrate a bit depending on your position on the bike or which bike you are riding or how the screen is set. Did suffer a bit from stability at speed with cross winds, you can feel the wind pushing the helmet. That is nitpicking if I have to be honest.
Neotec. Probably the best helmet bar my XR1100 that I have. The dark visor is very effective in the low sun, good ventilation and you can tailor it to suit circumstances or seasons, very comfortable and a quiet helmet for me (5'10'' GS Adv 14 plate windshield at highest setting), Like all the Shoeis apart from the Multitec the liners are removable, space for the intercom system. A curtain to keep the coldest of drafts out, pinlock that doesn't fog, very easy and quick to strap on once the buckle is set no faffing around, big opening so you can see a lot, visor not only drops down but also moves back to for a nice tight seal preventing rain and running water entering the eye opening. Downsides. The top vent is very effective so you will feel the cold air freezing your brain, put it on half open, can get a bit warm in the south of France for it is a snug fit, the visor shield hinges needs lubricating ever so often, can fog up a bit around the edges but just open the chin vent to clear it. The sun shade is only to be used with the visor down. Bugs damages this very easily and once you lift the shade with the bugs on the shade the bits stays inside the pocket only to make a mess every time you drop the shade or lift it
