Just bought a Shoei Neotec and wore it fr the first time today on the bike - it's a class act but a trifle expensive.

First impressions are that it is higher quality alround and better looking than my Schubert C3.

I am a happy bunny :D

Had mine for 2 weeks now, more comfortable than my C2 as it pressed on the forehead sometimes but not as quiet, more noise from the top vent.

Bought mine over 12 months ago now & done about 12k with it, nice lid & gets used everyday :beerjug:

Mine misted in really cold/wet weather, but less so than my C2 with pinlock fitted. I think the problem is due to the screen on my GSA being so protective when fully up you get very little ventilation, come next Winter I will try dropping the screen to see if it improves the situation. I liked my C2, but after over 6 months using the Neotec I find it to be much better.

Neotech

Hi

Had a Neotech for about 9 months now, before that two Multitec's. Not impressed, visor is softer more flexible material than old Shoie helmets pinlock doesn't seal, and mists up even when pins fully rotated.

But worst of all, visor jumps out of its bracket when you lift it so when you close it won't seal giving an air gap.

Helmet has been back twice, Shoie have changed their visors on the newer helmets to stop this happening and have changed the mounts twice on my Neotech, they acknowledge they had a fault with the earlier Neotech's but even though they have changed my set up on the visor twice I still have issues with it.

Helmet now returned for the third time, Not having it back this time, for £550 I expect quality. Always wore Shoie Xr1000's, Quest and Multitec but the Neotech visor is rubbish. Still using Quest and XR1100 look at the visor mounts they are completely different to the Neotech!

£550  you were robbed, even the Borealis at retail price is £500
I've seen white for £375 so why was yours so expensive?

May I ask where you have seen a white one for that price, the cheapest I have seen is £460 - £470?

Thanks.

I paid £350 delivered for a titanium coloured one - I have had it for several months and rate it highly. Much better than either my old Synchrotech 2 or Multitech.

The main visor has no issues - the pinlock does need a bit of tweaking to ensure perfect operation and no misting, but overall, well made, light, quiet for a flip front and the drop down tinted visor well worth it!

I still have a proper full face as well but the Neotech is good in its own right.

LAZER MONACO PURE CARBON

Just purchased the above helmet, been on a trip to the Eifel Mountains a couple of weeks ago went through Snow Hail Rain and some Hot weather, helmet never misted up once every body else in the group was having to ride with the visors cracked open to be able to see. Also very light obviously and comfortable would highly recommend. Photochromic faceshield is also very effective and easy on the eyes. Cost around £290.00 :beerjug:
