Shoei NXR - Tour X4 opinions and advice.

Just got my Tour X4 from the nice people at the Visor Shop.
I have a Tour X3 and a race Arai but both are due for replacing.
I didn't consider anything else but the X4 but Mary's Shoei NXR arrived at the same time.
The X4 feels like a real clunker compared to the compact and light NXR.
I got on great with the old XR1000, those helmets kept my head from being blown off at 160mph + on the ZX12R's
I am tempted to return the Adventure style peaked helmet and revert to the NXR. One thing thats great about the Shoei is the quick visor removal. The X4 still use bolts to hold on the Visor.

Who owns both?
Could I get to Spain without a peak?
Would I look out of place at a UKGSER rally without a peak?

Get what suits you best
Some days I use a X4 and other days I use a Neotec
I use a full face type Neotec for long tours, much less strain on the neck

I don't own either but I do think MikeO's White Tour X with Black Visor and GS Stickers looks V Cool.
