Shoei Sizing - Raid same as Hornet?

I had a Shoei Raid in medium and it fitted perfect - am I safe to buy a Hornet in Medium?

Are the sizes comparable?

Sizing

Yep have both in medium, and they fit the same. Raid is lighter though. Hornet much better peripheral vision and colder.

OK, so tried one on in shop yesterday, Medium and a Large

The large was perfectly comfy as it was (brand new), but with wear could it become a little loose?

The medium felt more snug, though was giving me 'squashed face syndrome' - not perfectly comfy, but will it give?

If it wears in a bit, could be fine in Medium, but what have people's experience been? Do they give significantly?

The cheek pads et al will soften up, but the actual inner shell won't. If it's tight across your forehead, that won't give. Don't forget that shoei cheek pads come in different sizes.

You can always beef up or slim down your hampster face whilst still keeping the same shell around your skull.
