on the move
N.W gentle folk, may I express my thanks for the welcome you gave me having arrived in this area. For the rides in the Lake District and the splendid roads that you've introduced me to. However, I am on the move again.

This time I'm off to South Wales, but instead of saying farewell, I'm sure that I'll be in touch with you even more regularly than present.

The reason...

I'm joining Touratech.

I'll also be having the official Three Teas site launch in Liverpool in either December or January, at the Apple Store in Liverpool One. When I get the final date I'll post it and I'd be delighted if you could make it along.

So, it's been a pleasure and I'll see you again soon I hope.

Steve.

That was because I used joined up words!
Never did see a ferret. Do you get them in the wild, or just down your trousers?

Seems like the role is a bit of everything, so that Nick Plumb will be freer to go and do Paris Dakar and more racing.

There's an immediate need for a parts person, which will be me, but then I've been tasked with marketing the new streetline range, so i must set up a reseller network with all the bike manufacturers and their dealer networks, help with the point of sale units that will be sent to resellers, work on the on-line shop aspect, external comms and internal comms, so adapting German material for the UK and then communicating with customers, newsletters, posters, events etc...

Pleasantly varied and a great time to join, because TT is about to go big time and BMW have some exciting things coming too, but I haven't been told what yet. Then there's the motorcycle industry branching out with bikes like the GS, Ducati, Guzzi, Yamaha, so TT kit for them. As I say, exciting and challenging times.

Here in the UK, TT will now have a young whipper snapper with extreme off road experience and me, the older fart, who rides longer distances but sedately and carrying everything including a sink. Then there's a guy called Neil who is a technical guru on the kit, whose brain I'll have to pick. Nice blend that ticks a lot of the boxes that will help TT relate to customers.

Thanks for all the kind wishes folks. I'm sure paths will be crossed and hopefully money and the odd bevvy will be exchanged.
