Short beak 1100gs

Here is a useful link if you think the standard beak on the 1100gs is big and ugly....
Dieboxergarage.de do a short one for a hundred quid or so and I will post pictures of mine when it is sprayed up.

try no beak.

I did for a while.. only putting it back on when I fitted spots. (which looked too odd without the beak)

One thing I noticed during the year or so my bike was 'beak less' - it had absolutely no effect on the oil temp - which was BMWs justification for adding it in the first place.

It channels air onto the oil-cooler - they said. That turned out to be nonsense.

The in-fill panel.. something I found on eBay.de was cheap so gave it a go.

I much more prefer the older shape to this newfangled "bat" design.
