Going back to Tyne Cot, and interesting fact about the monument I discovered when I visited there last September. The monument was erected over a German blockhouse and at the front carved in stone was an elarged Army cap badge (crown & wreath) but the centre is missing. When George V was shown the cemetery after the war, he suggested the the centre wasn't completed as it shows to this day the concrete blocks of the blockhouse.
