I need to change my rear indicators for shorter ones, to get my Touratech panniers to fit. The last time I changed them, I arranged for Rydales to fit a set of Dakar indicators I had lying around, although in fairness they did not recommend them.

So where can I get replacement short indicators from? :nenau

M&P do short mini indicators (mail order service available). Not BMW shaped though if this matters. :thumb

Metal Mule supply an adapter for their panniers that allows you to use the original BM indicators without the spacer. Cost is about a tenner. You would need to check that they would suit whatever pannier system your intending to fit tho'

.. Always check bulb wattage rating is the same as origional otherwise indicators can go haywire i.e flash far to fast.
This is a problem I had with the Dakar indicators (and probably why Rydales didn't recommend them) but in the end I just put more powerful bulbs which cured it.

Thank you gents. Right, I'm going to have a go at cutting the existing ones to size and refitting them. If I balls it up - then I'll buy the shorter ones. :thumb
