I'm currently running an 1150 Adv screen with tobinators on my standard 1150 but I'm looking for a shorter screen for commuting and general tossing about. I was certain I'd seen photos somewhere of a short screen with an unusual vertical 'rippled' effect somewhere, but I can't find it now (may have dreamt it)
Any ideas?

Could have been the bottom half of an MRA Vario (top sliding section removed). I've read of people doing this with good effect. They have the vertical 'ripple' you speak of.

I commute 160 miles a day with out a screen at all (in the 'finer' months). I just have the silver clock shroud (soon to be Carbon Fibre) and haven't missed the big screen once, might not be what your after but I love it!

That's what gave me the idea to be honest - took the screen off at the Stella & loved the lack of noise/buffeting, and also the bike felt more... I dunno.. like a lighter, more manoevrable thing if that makes any sense.

I think MattW's right tho - I've probably seen an MRA vario with the top section removed.

Anyone got any photos of such a setup?

Give me a minute and I'll pop into the garage and take my vario to bits :thumb

Voila (on an 1100, but the 1150 is the same).

With upper half:

Same here, I have to do a lot of town riding to get to work and it feels like a supermoto now (in my head anyway!)
