Has any one any experience of fitting shorter shocks to an 1150 GS (other than Oliens megga buck shocks). I am not short in the leg but if and when going off road and I stop over a hole or depression it would be nice to feel something under my feet rather than the fear and then the crunch, surrounded by laughter from the unaffected. I have a friend with a very low GS but this was modified before he brought it so I dont know what was done.
Have a corbin seat which dosent help but lower shocks will keep the present seat footpeg relationship, no scratching will be possible but this should not matter too much as they could be put back without too much trouble. So, any advice (or cash)gratefully received.
dave ( no crash bars so get nearer the deck) gs. Happy xmas to all

I fitted a lowered shock to my GSPD and whilst I find it an improvement when moving it about it did have an unplanned side effect - getting it on the centre stand is a bit of a b@stard. so much so that I'm having to chop the stand down a bit:(
