should I change a tourance with 2.7mm

The legal limit in the uk is 1mm. Is it the same in Europe? I know car tyre limits are different. Change it for peace of mind.

Most of Europe is the same as the UK (1mm) for motorcycles. Have a look here. France, for example is 1.6mm. It is recommended (by the various tyre manufacturers associations) to change your tyres when they get down to 2mm. Discuss

Now I see why some say these bikes handle

Blimey, took the bike out for a quick 10 miles on the new tyre. Differance is amazing. The handling is much much better and it was fine before.

Deffo the right thing to change it. Cheers dudes.

Yer, it's not as bad as it looks. Its a tyre with 2.7mm. I spotted the cut after I took it off and had no prior knowledge of its being there.

Anywhay, I might save it for next year when we do the round the world trip.
