should i pack my rain coat

im headin to the highlands over easter by myself for a wee run for a few days on the bike as i have done many times before,but never in april,should i pack my waterproofs and ditch the tent?
i always go in the summer and have been very lucky so far with the weather.

yeah the midgies were a nightmare last year at loch lomond and loch ness

we kin still get snaw in april, or sunshine, or rain. if i wis you i'd be optimistic, dont bring yer waterproofs, the powr o' positive thought

also is applecross well worth going out of my way for,ive pretty much done every other road as ive been touring scotland for the last 4 years 3-4 times a year
