This will also explain why the lower mounting points are a pig to line up on the front frame. I'll attempt to straighten it a little.

Thanks Wessie - I tried that route but the parts diagrams show the bracket from an offset view point. Hard to tell if the 'arm' should be straight. I've just an image with a head on view - it should definitely be straight!
