Hi all
I'm looking at a 2012 GS Adventure.
It's got black spoked wheels and the 1st taller gear.
I'm just not sure if it's missing the engine bars?
Do all adventures come with engine bars as standard?
Many Thank in advance
Richard

It certainly appears to be a GSA, but no crashbars, or the GSA spotlamps which are normally mounted on the upper bars. I'd be asking them why not.

looks like a base model but worse without the bars no abs etc walk away plenty about way better than that

As above + it should also have alloy cylinder head covers.

Weird combo....no ABS but has got ESA. No bars or cylinder protectors....I can only assume this bike has been in a low speed scrape. As others have said....for a few hundred £ more you can get similar mileage....the correct spec and full luggage....probably from a private buyer.

As others have said, this one is a pass.

I didn't realise they sold a GSA with a taller 1st gear. I bought mine with the optional lower first gear.

Thanks all
I thought it seemed a bit odd.
I work for BMW car parts and can look up the bike bits. I looked up retrofit bars and lamps and couldn't see them. Now I see why, they're on the standard fit sections.
It's a pity that :-/ they were offering the highest part exchange price on the R6 :-( maybe that's why :-/
We are previous customers of theirs too, buying a CBR for my wife from there.
Shame :-/ I wonder if they know?
Cheers
Richard

Wrong colour seat as well.

Probably put back together after an accident and a few shortcuts taken to keep the cost down.

Yes it is all adding up to a bit of dodgy scenarios.
I suppose that would explain the bike not being spec'd with ABS?

ABS has always been an option and I bought mine new without it. A much better set up in my opinion:augie (each to their own on that topic).

Think that bike hs been up for sale for a while as when i was looking for a gsa i had come across that one , i would look elsewhere

I actually looked at that bike but the attitude of the staff totally p@@d me off

Funnily enough they were just as bad when it came to cars when I used to buy BMW :-(
