Hi there, sorry but couldn't catch your name, glad to have been able to assist. I think the short ride to the fuel station was a hairy experience for both of us..... i haven't taken a pillion ( of any size ) for c.20 years during which time i've become a lot weaker. Keeping the bike balanced as you clambered up was just slightly un-nerving.!!
Your bike looked well loaded down with camping gear so i hope you both enjoy your holiday......oh, and get that fuel strip fixed

Hi Joe

It was me. That was definitely a hairy experience, climbing on the back of your bike. As I said at the time I'll never complain about the wife getting on again.

We had a 4 hour run ahead of us up to Tongue. Thanks to you we managed to get there safe and sound.

I think I posted a while ago re the fuel strip. BMW are developing a new one, probably to work with E10. I have had this confirmed twice. First time was via a mechanic at John clarks Aberdeen and 2 months later by the parts manager who confirmed there is a note on the system regarding the new product but there is no date for availability.
