Spoke to my neighbour who has lived here about 17 years this afternoon.

Seems the local farmer (livestock) is 100% anti-motorbikes on his land.
So my idea for getting a small section of land sublet to put some obstacles on for trials playing seems to have died before it begun.
Not that it will stop me from looking elsewhere close-ish to home for a place to set up a small practice and play area.
With a bit of imagination and some sweat and tears one can put together a nice "Novice to Clubmans" type playpen.

In the mean time, lets see what you have at home, or on your farm, or secret play place.

My garage is behind the bushes at the end of the garden, and I know Nicola would not let me use the lawn for any sort of bike play (can't even wash the car on the lawn as it is soft and fragile)
If you look beyond the garage you can see the bush where I had hoped to get some sort of obstacle course set up, it also has a stream running through.

Surely loads of this fine control can be practiced ina restricted space.

Currently looks like this, and the fire wood pile is now behind the garage, drying out for next winter.

So please do add your obstacles and suggestions of what to build on here.

Clearly, this is novice and clubmans territory, but please do add , even if you are the Dougie Lampkin of your parish.

Surely you can knock something together with those sleepers, blocks and that pallet? Pictures expected tomorrow evening. :)

:D:D:D:D:D

Sleepers are all dedicated already, to replace the crumbling walls to the right in the pic and to build an ericacieous (spelling ?)plant bed for Nicola. (Don't even ask, I just do what I am told, that way I get cut loads of slack )

But I can get more sleepers again.

The idea would be a couple of small walls and a ramp, as well as a slalom course just to do figure 8's etc.

All dependant on the rest of my life getting back on course again.

The old work/play balance Rian? I hope the new job is going well. :thumb2

Hi Aidan, I have not got a job yet, still on the job hunt, though my CV has been put forward for a job in Epilepsy, so waiting to hear if they want to interview me.

I also have a telephonic interview on Tuesday for a Business Development Manager job with a private hospital group.

I just need to be patient, and keep busy doing stuff in and around the house ;)
