1977 last game at Wembley before they were going to rip up the turf and replace it and putting in new aluminium goalposts. There was much talk of it before the game how the sacred turf was being removed and that removing the wooden goalposts was sacralidge.

The Tartan army filled the stadium that day in fact before the game the tv played "see if you can spot an England fan" whilst panning a camera round the ground.

A month after the game Ally MacLeod presented the Lord Mayor of London with some turf
