Side panels r80/7

[Northern Monkey]

Just a quick one - all paint work is now back from paint shop - but I'm having a brain fart! How do I attach the side panels ??

If I remember that far back to when I took them off I think there was an elastic band or something ?!?!?

If anyone has any photos or details of what I'm missing and what I need I would appreciate it

Try Siebenrock. Got mine there as well as both panels for half the UK price.

Now you're getting technical!

From memory ('cos the garage is locked) I put them between the two side panels and zip-tied them to something solid in the middle, so a failure of one would not relase any side panel.

Those better versed in airhead ownership probably know the proper/a better way though. I'm still a novice with these big daft wobbly things!

Are the four flimsy steel (two on each side) still in place on your subframe? If they aren't you may need to drill your side panels and use cable ties. As mentioned above the front is secured with two big elastic rings. There should be rubber buffers attached to the side panels to stop them rattling and rubbing the paint on your frame.

Those are really badly bent. Be careful when bending them to the right shape
