Side stand switch issue, or maybe worse? Tricky problem.

Good luck with the switch.

It worked. :bounce1:bounce1

I received the side stand and switch from Sherlocks yesterday and fitted them this morning and everything was grand.

Jaythro was in the area today and called in to set the TPS which was very good of him. A quick test ride over the road and she is running very well again.

Thanks to all for the advice and assistance, especially Jay & Neil. :bow:bow

Well done Aidan, strange how the switch bypass worked for all those miles then got weird, mines been nobbled for years.:nenau

I'm having trouble understanding that myself Stewart and am putting it down to a combination of the broken wires, faulty gear position indicator switch and side stand switch.

In any event, it's good to have her back up and running. :)

Its really annoying when something like this happens and there seems to be no logical reason behind it
