Sidestand switch, to bypass it whats the procedure please?

Hi guys and apologies if this question is already asked, I for one cannot find it though.

My cutting out problems may be associated with a dodgy sidestand switch so I have disconnected the plug from the sidestand housing which now reveals a 3 pin plug, 3 wires therefore.. question is.. what do I do next, is it a case of cutting off the plug thus exposing the wires then joining two together, if so which two and what happens to the last wire?

Its a F650 gs 2000 btw

Ok finally found the thread so no answer needed. Gonna patch the f***er up and take it to some dealer who stitched me in the past and trade it in for a bike that dont break down every two minutes..

And NO.....it will NOT be a f***ing beemer!


(Well, unless he has a very special deal on a nice adventure that is, dont wanna close them doors fully do I now?)
