a good deal?
So I've just spent some of my hard earned cash getting an outfit ready for commuting to work for the year oct - oct
Thought I'd share what I thought was a reasonably good deal with any of you who were looking for good prices.
Basically, got my Sidi Adventure boots from Germany (FC-Moto.de) for £242
Got my Shoei Neotec from Andorra (automotoracing.com) for £380 (both including delivery)
Got a great deal from HG for my goretex suit. Torino jacket in brown for £330 (minus £100 for their 'spend over 300 and get 100 off'), and Tourist GTX jeans for £280. Instead of utilising their 'spend 160 and get 40 off' offer, i just added a windstopper neck thingy to the basket, taking total spend to £300, thus getting £100 off! Add in the discount for joining HG points club (1000, this equals £10), and the points from from the jacket purchase (another 6ish quid) total was £188.
Oh, jacket and jeans needed to be in two transactions, otherwise I would have only got £100 off total!
And i've another fiver to spend at some point courtesy of the points racked up for buying the jeans!
All in all I'm well chuffed.
Thought I'd post this just in case anyone else was looking for some good prices!
