Hi!

I have currently got a pair of Sidi Black Rains (in a "winter" size, i.e. worn with extra socks to keep my feet warmer!) and am after a pair of motocross style boots. A fruitless hour in Hein Gericke revealed none the fitted comfortably! So, I though a Sidi Boots great they'll fit. From what I have read on here the Flexforce seems like what I want but nowhere round here stocks them so I can try them! So,

1) do they fit the same as all Sidi Boots?
2) do they fit the same as the other models of MotoCross style boots?
3) is there anywhere in the SE that sells them from stock so I can try them for size before hitting the internet in search of a good price?

Thanks In Anticipation.

Try a pair of SIDI couriers... I have been using them for the last 6 years or so (second pair). I love them, comfortable, and easy to walk in once broken in a little. Expensive, but I like them, as do many despatchers, so they cant be all bad as we all know the despatchers in London dont use crap gear.

PS: J&S in New Malden sell them, and the slightly longer ones (cant remember the name) J&S are Burlington Road, New Malden, just 400m off the A3

Good Luck in the search

There's not a lot of comparison between Sidi Couriers and Flexforce. One's a tough leather road motorcycle boot designed to look a bit like a Moto X boot, the other, the Flexforce, is the real deal.

I wear Flexforce SRS. They're like wearing carpet slippers inside plaster casts. They're also sized quite small....Italian sizing for guys with narrow feet. Having said that, my 43s are a superb fit and I take a 43 in a walking boot but I do have narrow feet. Just make sure that you don't have to walk too far in them, it can be hard work.

Thanks,

I was in J&S last week for a look around and saw the couriers. I may pop back in there and have another look and try those on.

I've worn flexforce SRS boots for about 3 years now. Superb bits of kit - very durable. I mainly got them cos I presumed that any off I'd have would be lowish speed filtering related and wanted to ensure that my ankles were really well protected.

I've replaced the soles once in 4 years. Other than that, nothing has gone wrong at all. Excellent boots. Pretty waterproof as well.

I bought mine from Jack Lilley in Shepperton who had a good selection. Also, Infinity stock them.
