I had today change to test R100GS with that kit installed.
It includes cylinders, pistons, cam and bike has also 40mm Bings and inlet valves has been made few mm bigger. They also recommend to use twin spark system but this bike doesen't have it. They tell that in this tune engine should produce 80 hp and over 90 Nm.
I have had also GS with Siebenrock 1000cc replacement kit, 40 mm Bings and RS cylinder heads. It was also a huge improvement and bike was very fun to ride.
Back to bb-kit. Bike has also quute free exhaust and just to start engine you'll feel and hear that this isnt just a regular boxer. It makes you almost to pee few drops.
And then for a spin. Bike feels very light to ride after oilhead but god what a torque. Its just same wich gear you have in, give some gas and bike just jumps ahed and then throw just bigger in. Torque feels endles. Same time its still quite relaxed to drive constant speed and theres very little vibes.
I can do nothing but recommend. Maybe its time to make some changes to G/S next winter..
