Spotted a man wearing a santa hat today. Outside maxwells diy on the west gate road they have loads of snow shovels and sledges stacked high, must be expecting bad weather

As I sit here with the lounge window speckled with water watching the tree over the road shedding leaves everywhere in a stiff breeze and the sky the same colour as the neighbours roof slates, yes I think winter is approaching.

Ive not stuck my heaed outside the door yet but it does not look warm

Saw a group of teenage kids, dressed in Santa gear, outside Carlisle station, last Saturday.

Maybe it's just some strange Northern English psychosis.....
