I'm on the look out for a Silk Liner / Balaclava for the wife. I had a look around on google and all it threw out was silk skull caps.
Does any one know where I can get a silk liner from??

Why silk? Coolmax is, arguably, better. I've got a couple of Coolmax ones - a very thin black karting one by Sparco that I got from Demon Tweeks and a thicker Oxford one.

I do have a silk one but it's an Ermengildo Zegna one that I bought in 1975. I suspect they're no longer on sale. Ermengildo Zegna has gone upmarket a bit since then.

+1 for coolmax Oxford Products do them so most bike shops will stock them

Coolmax keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter:)

've seen silk ones for sale in shops that sell outdoors gear - alongside silk glove liners which are great.

"silk balaclava"

I just did a Google search (pages from the UK) and got lots of hits.

I searched on "silk balaclava". You should include the quotation marks then it finds those two words only when they appear together in that order.

BMW sell a Coolmax, a Silk, and a winter half-Coolmax/half-Windstopper type that got a best-buy rating in a motorcycle rag recently.
