Where's the cheapest place to buy this, My Yamama Diversion suffers from carb icing at this time of year. It runs better with this in the tank, I just don't like paying £12.95 for a litre.

I doubt if it will get any cheaper than my local bike shop who retail it at £14 But if I buy a minimum of 6, he'll let me have it for £11 a bottle.

I'm in Eastleigh, just outside Southampton, so if it's cheap and miles away, it isn't worth telling me, there again it might be useful info for others.

Main ingredient is Isopropanol, dunno if that can be bought anywhere?

It does make good screen wash additive to stop it freezing - when I lived in Germany and it was very cold, a chemist friend used to liberate the odd bottle from the lab for me.

Thank gawd for fuel injection, you have my sympathy mate.

I swore by ProFST when I had a Yamaha Thundercat due to carb icing, but haven't seen any for sale locally in ages. I used to pay about £12 a litre bottle which didn't last long, but riding the bike without it was a deathtrap expecially when opening the throttle after coasting up the M27 sliproad at Fareham exit..

I guess you'll just have to pay the going rate.:nenau

The only other product that 'Cat owners raved about for preventing carb icing was Wynns Dryfuel which I believe is sold at Halfrauds.

Just about to finish off the last of the proFST, then it will be on to the Isopropanol.
