It has happened a few times now, on my Quest1 I get a Max speed way of the scale. Yesterday after a drive back from Reading I got over 4000 MPH:eek:. feck me I was only driving a Peugeot 206.

Any GPS wizards able to explain what is happening.

Boring sensible answer; Loss of signal combined with a change of direction meant that the GPS tracked ahead whilst you'd changed direction. By the time it had sorted itself out you weren't where it expected you to be so it had to rapidly traverse, in a virtual sense, to catch up with you. This results in a high speed recording between these two points.
