Vinyl can actually look good and be very effective when it is not pretending to be something else. Fake carbon just looks shit.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I think your opinion is worth the same as the last word in the post above. But as a retort to your post is it pretending to be something else or is it just a decorative vinyl? I mean anybody can see that coloured vinyl covered panel is'nt a painted panel can't they? Why did he not pay 50 notes for a proper spray job instead of a tenner for coloured vinyl? If you canny answer that yuv mair money than sense!

Actually I paid nothing....but I am really scared now because some people don't like what I have done to my bike.....

Just did mine too. £8.50 for enough to do the panels twice from eBay. Lots of little air bubbles but some time with a pin, plastic scraper and the hair dryer has dealt with most of that. My panels where really badly worn with 80k miles worth of thigh related rubbing , oooer!

Thanks for the idea, completely changed the look of the bike for less than a tenner

Did the same thing with my 2006 ADV but chose a nicer MATT BLACK as I hate fake Carbon Fibre.

I also did the CH Covers in it so when I drop the bike they don't get scratched to F**K.
