Simple, NO COST servo removal of 1150 IABS system

My 2005 GSA had a servoectomy prior to me buying it. It still has all the original piping going to a "servo abs removal unit" under the tank that looks like this:

I am unable to successfully bleed the front brakes and still have some air in there. I'd like to remove all the redundant pipework and install the front pipe loop thing that looks like this, and plumb the rear pipe straight into the rear master cylinder:

Is this OK to do? Will there be any consequences with brake lights or any other electrics? I can't see that there will be but want to check. Thanks.

Thanks for that. I was looking at that part as well and wondering if the extra £40 is worth it.

With the work done so far, is there anything electrical to worry about, or can I just strip out the redundant pipes and servo delete unit?

It looks so much cleaner and easier to bleed

Retain the electronics bit and plug it back in and paint black nail polish over your warning LED OR get someone with a motoscan to recode as a NON ABS bike (y)

Yep, read that post thanks. With the bike already having been de-servod and de-ABSd I am hoping that I can just remove all the extra pipework and route the hoses directly (via a doo-dah atht efront of course).

I've not done the ABS removal yet, (next project on my Edition 80 Rockster): but I've replaced the lines on most of my Rocksters with direct lines: ie 1 hose per side, direct to the caliper from the m/c. Obviously using a double-banjo union bolt at the m/c. I used the Goodridge "Build a line" system and it works like an absolute charm: very easy to fit, incredibly easy to bleed and very reliable brakes. If you use the "Build-a-line" system, just make sure you read the instructions about specifiying the lengths of the hoses carefully and measure 3 times, taking account of steering lock and suspension travel.
