Simple, Reliable, Broadband / email provider?

Now that it seems that I own my own email address (thanks guys), can anyone suggest a provider who is reliable & simple to set up, who doesn't expect me to stay at the same physical address for the rest of my life, and who won't read the contents of my emails & pass it on to a business competitor? (oh yes!!)

I keep my e-mail and web hosting independent from my ISP so there is no tie in to my ISP.

I use www.plus.net for my ISP (it does come with e-mail and web hosting but I don't use it. Been with them for 2 years now and not a single drama (I was ex BT so I was no stranger to pain).

And my e-mail/web hosting by www.fast2host.co.uk in the latter's case someone very near here will assist in the handholding and KISS principles you hold so dear.
