Facelift model has the concentric clutch slave cylinder in the bellhousing ,clutch fluid change is not part of the service schedule and causes the slave to fail (40,000 miles on mine). It is a gearbox and transfrr box out job and clutch dmf replacement
If you buy one change the fluid and bled the system, facelift model went back to cheaper iron rear calipers ftom the earlier alloy ones, both failed on mine at under50,000 miles.
If you live rural Skoda use environmentally friendly plastic on the fuel ranks and pumps with a higher proportion of vegetable based oil in the plastic and rats love it , yep they ate the breather pipes off my tank and the top of the fuel pump. Massive job to drop the rank as the exhayst drive shaft has to be removed on a lift to access the tank .Spray the area with anti rodent lacquer.
Yeti's also seem to suffer from odd and quite frequent electrical glitches ...... think loss of radio volume or gauges going off , battery disconnection for five minutes is the official fix.
Also they seem to eat rear ABS sensors every 40,000 miles or so.
All of the above have happened with my 10 year old Yeti since I bought it 6 years ago (it now has less than 58,000 miles on the clock)
