Looking for a way out
I've recently bought a spped triple (955i 2004).

After 6 years of the shalft GS, I expected that the would be less 'lash' in the drive chain, but it seems not. When I either back off or put the power back on a get a bit of a thunk (technical term that).
The chain and sprocket are new.

As the video shows (if it worked), the movement is on the gear box output rather than the chain.
I'm a bit of a numpty about chains, Does it look excessive?

That looks about normal for the SSSA 955 Triumphs. If you want to find out more, take a look at www.t595.net where you will find a wealth of info about Triumphs.
