Sorry, must be somewhere, just fitted a new clutch (my first) and slave cylinder, to fit the slave it had a "preload" to fit it, not major but needed pushing in against a spring pressure, is this right ?
Yea, sounds right to me, if i remember mine had about 5-10mm pushing against the spring in the slave cylinder when i bolted it back up. Think it stops any free play in the clutch.
