Looking to buy a new sleeping bag ....I'm after a 3 season light weight bag that rolls up into an dead small stuff sack :thumb2

My last one a few years old now would only pack down to about 18 "x 8" looking to half that these days with all the hi tec fabrics on the market...

Thanks

How much are you thinking of spending? You can't go wrong with a Snugpak and there is a huge variety of types to choose from. But if you want something fairly cheap, then Amazon have an Aztec Treklite 1100 3 season bag, synthetic, weighs 1.25kg, reduced from £40 down to £15, with free delivery?

The North Face Cats Meow is a proven and popular bag.

I have a 3 season Down bag that packs up tiny and weighs about 700g but depends what your budget is. If you want super small and super light then you may need to go the "Down" route.

Warm small and light weight :D you only get what you pay for so looking like the more expensive down bag :blast

I'm looking to get a light weight camping setup for the 950 se just bought some Andystrapz throw over panniers and a small two man tent all i need is the sleeping bag might have a run up to cotswold camping this weekend ,

Hoping someone could recommend a bag they have tried and tested :thumb2

Get a down bag, and a proper Ortleib type stuff sack that will pack it down smaller still and keep it dry...and if you spend decent money on a good doss bag treat it and yourself to a silk liner which will be warmer again and keep your bag clean.

And remember yer Thermarest:thumb2

Have you looked in Decathlon? Big French chain of sports superstores, they have a great range and my daughter purchased a whole load of stuff when she went travelling to South America. Their sleeping bags fit into a pack which you roll and an air extraction system which compresses the bag into a tiny space. Reasonable price and a good range. Its one of those stores that seems to stock everything and have their "own brand" range. Think they have a store up north, maybe Manchester. Do a Google search. Well worth a visit.

ajungilak

after years of various sleeping bags and testing them in various conditions while surfing (from Thurso to Hawaii!), there are no better than Ajungilak imho. It's a norwegian make and isn't priced out of orbit either. They pack down small, have a massively long life even when you wash and wash them. And the best news is, Ellis Brigham are doing discounts on them right now: ajungilak

you could try go outdoors in stockport, top brands at cheap prices, well worth a visit, i called in last week and came away with my bank balance intact and several quality micro fleeces, just the job for the bike.
