Does anyone with a corbin leather faced seat, find it slidey.
Or has someone polished it maybe ?
Corbin dual sports? ADV seat.

I put the brakes on reasonably hard. Louise slides into me, I just about slide onto the tank. Ive put the top box on to stop her disappearing off the back.

I treated it with leather conditioner/cleaner yesterday, but havnt got round to trying it again, but it still feels slidey.

Anybody else have this prob, or are we just tooooooo slick.

Cordura trews & Corbin = Slide/Slippery

Leather trews & Corbin = No Slide

Take yer pick, Den :nenau

Mine's not a leather Corbin, but vinyl and does the same

Wot he said ...

... wear leather trousers, no slidey :)

Bought mine 2nd hand and the fella polished it to make it look good, but it was well slippy, done about 8000 miles on it now and it seems fine, I only wear cordora "trews" so does the wife, it maybe makes you ride a bit more smoothly!! I wouldnt go back to wearing leather just to stop the slip, I now sit more back in the well of the seat which took a bit of getting used to, it is the standard GS seat not the ADV.

Let Louise ride and you go pillion

Leather doesn't seem to slide on the seat so I use bike trousers with a leather bum

Less of that you, it's a damn fine idea I subscribe to myself :dabone

Den, try giving it a light scrub with one of those abrasive-backed washing up sponges. I've used them with good results before now :thumb
