Went to a Festival and camped, No more camping was the conclusion, So thinking about/looking for a small (Citroen Berlingo, Vaxhall combo size) utility vehicle for occasional overnight stays and taking e-bikes on holiday. Any thoughts? Anyone upsizing and has one for sale?? Cheers :beerjug: John B

Check the inside length of those sized vans.
You may find there’s not enough room to get an airbed in lengthwise.

Is it just you or another aswell...
As you mention "Ebikes"..
A small van is going too be a problem if two people and Ebikes and other stuff.

I’m was at a similar quandary about festival camping we now glamp when we can ..yes it can be expensive but just turning up and everything is done for you plus decent sleep we think it’s worth it .. also I’ve just sold my caddy maxi which 2 can sleep in the back but it’s a bit of a squeeze width wise .

I've just bought a SWB Vauxhall Vivaro for just such events. Ex police vehicle so good FSH. Just had it lined and insul in the back. Can get 2 ebikes in the back alongside the 2 extra removable seats that are there. Take them out and I'd be reasonably comfortable to sleep - certainly better than under canvas.

I kinda like the idea of a suzuki carry.... for the budget conscious camper and festival goer...

The ready made kit for the smaller vans advertised on here was a good looking deal as well....👍

We use a berlingo. Enough room for 2 adults and a dog kipping. I would go for the longer wheelbase one for a touch more room.
